O-Sensei's 1961 McKinley High School Demonstration
On Saturday, March 11, 1961 at 7:30 PM, Morihei ueshiba O-Sensei gave a public demonstration of Aikido at the McKinley High School Auditorium, Honolulu, Hawaii. This demonstration was by invitation only. A brochure was published to promote the event. The brochure is of historical value due to the photographs and narratives concerning many of the early Aikidoka of both Hawaii and Japan. This brochure is here reproduced in its entirety.
